Put up outstanding 3-point shooting numbers. His 92 makes were a UMass freshman record, 7th-most for any Minuteman in a single season, and tied for 4th among all NCAA D1 freshman. Percentage of .472 was 5th-best in all of NCAA D1, and Pierre was the only freshman in the top 60.

Totaled a season-high five rebounds at South Carolina (12/2) where he put up 12 points and two steals.
Got his first career start versus Holy Cross (12/6), putting up 9 points and 3 rebounds in 23 minutes.
Came off the bench for the next three games, but became a permanent starter for the Maine game (12/22). Responded by putting up 25 points for a new season/career high, shooting 9-13 from the field and 7-9 from 3.
