There is more wrong with the A10 than just the Commissioner. I hope that in the coming months, as the conference searches for a replacement, enough conference members recognize that there are a number of institutions that are insufficiently committed to athletic excellence. Basically, it's time to make some of the institutions decide if they really are committed to being an outstanding conference.

Just a question, but what are the requirements to becoming a league commish? It seems as though our very own John McCutcheon might be a good fit for this position.

John McCutcheon wrote:“We wish her well. She’s had a great run with the A-10 for 13 years and some great things happened while she was here, but now that she’s decided to pursue other interests it provides an opportunity for the league as well. Hopefully we can come out of this with new vision, new energy that will be to the benefit of the conference.
I think we should be looking for somebody who has vision for the future, energy and commitment to taking the league not only to where we have been in the past, but beyond that. Someone who can unify the conference and provide a clear vision of where to go.”
If you read between the lines, I think it's fairly obvious he's happy to see her go.

Wow, what once was a date to never forget in my life, June 14, 1994, the day the Rangers finally won the Stanley Cup, is tarnished a little, by the fact that Bruno was hired that same day.

Its funny that John McCutcheon specifically said that she has had a great run with the A10, not vice versa, and that some great things happened while she was here, but appropriately gives her no credit. He did a brilliant job of saying nice sounding things without saying anything nice.

Thank you for further evidence that said day was in fact, pure evil.
