According to the blog Comcast is going to add the channel before the game. Keep an eye out.

anyonen the northampton area go to Tully O'reileys bar.. just called the bar they get 283... just public access for now..

From Media Relations at 5:43pm

The UMass-Richmond A-10 Quarterfinal game tonight will be carried on
Channel 283 on Comcast Cable in Western Massachusetts at 9 p.m.

Additionally, the game will be on Fox Sports Ohio Cincinnati, which is
Channel 661 on DirecTV and 427 on Dish Network.

It's on the original 661, I don't think its HD but who cares.

It will be on the projection screen at the Beer Garden. I have been working through the night setting this place up for the weekend and the parade. I had to bring in 16 oz aluminum and plastic bottles for parade day. Prices are a liitle off so stick with the draft beer for better prices. I don't want to rip off my fellow Umass alums, and be sure to ask for me.

Hmm, Ch 283 on Comcast is the same in Eastern Mass as Western Mass. It's listed as "Leased Access". Maybe we'll get the game too. I guess we'll have to wait until 9:00 to find out.

Mike, this is the most excitement we've had in here since TF left. I would think you'd want to keep it all in one place. Your call.

In case nobody noticed, Sonic Rick's young team got smoked by URI earlier today. If we keep this close and have a shot at the end, it will go a long way to convincing me that DK is ready to coach at this level.

283 is listed as "local 9" here in CMASS (Milford).
