^sorry. didn't mean to start a headcount. I meant how many season ticket holders does the program have total, not just this board.

As a huge UMass fan, as all of you are, I find it discouraging that I can't buy a couple premium tickets, pay more than twice as much, in a stadium which is cavernous, for a program which is not that close to meeting minimum attendance requirements, and for a team which will (most-likely) underperform this year as they continue to rebuild.
I understand the frustration. I think Athletics is trying to make the club seats special. It gives a reason for people to buy club season tickets because they are exclusive. If people could walk up and buy single-game club tix, then there would probably be less club season ticket holders. Note that the people sitting up there tend to be the bigger donors; can't really piss 'em off.

What UMass needs to do is have a system set up so existing club season ticket holders could buy extras to the club if they have friends coming to a certain game. If the system is already there, they need to inform the club season ticket holders of availability.

I am Club seat STH ..I have #14 seats.. I am pretty sure I can buy additional on a per game basis..but as I type this I am starting to have doubts.. let me call and ask that question. I'll post again tomorrow with a better answer.

Heard that they are considering this option. Perhaps more season ticket holders should call up and ask.
Be proud of the present and look to the future.

I talked to my rep, and it sounded like they were close to finalizing the ability for club season ticket holders to buy extra club seats. Hopefully they officially announce it to the season ticket holders soon.

On another note, my 65 tickets to the Maine game arrived yesterday. Pretty pumped!

What they really need to do for us that have been long time season ticket holders, in my case 47 years, that can't do the three hour each way trip a chance to buy single game Club Level seats.

Assuming they let season ticket holders buy club level seats, anyone who wants one let me know. I'm more than happy to be the middle man. I charge a non-negotiable price of $0. Also, I'd appreciate it if you agreed to make noise on defensive third downs.

Cool, thank you. I'll let you know!!

I guess I understand they want donors up in the club level and the feeling that people "get something" for committing to season tickets. If I bought season tickets I guess I'd be pissed if a bunch of loud, obnoxious 22 year olds got wasted and were sitting right in front of me.

At some point I hope UMass has the problem of turning people away from premium seating - but at this point, I wish they'd just take what they can get. Regardless, in the club or down below, we'll definitely be at the game!

I like being right behind the bench. I get to hear everything the coaches and players are saying.

Yeah. Maine's gonna be an easy pushover.

Considering the upsets recently, no FCS opponent should be taken for granted. I don't care if it's North Dakota State, Towson, or Maine, FBS teams should expect a competitive game until they are (maybe) pleasantly surprised.

Pretty sure at a certain donor level you can get club seats for any game you want on an individual basis.

Well let's hope Blanchflower will be able to play in this one. Also, hopefully Nesmith's arm/shoulder isn't too banged up (he was in a sling after the Wisconsin game).

Also, not sure if Broadnax is going to be back for this one.

We need to show up against Maine. Need to get our receivers and our QB on the same page.

As long as it's not Max, the program should be fine. :)

FCS power Eastern Washington beats #25 Oregon State.

I know EWU is probably a better team than Maine, but it's another reason the game should not be taken lightly by anybody affiliated with UMass - coaches, players, or fans.
