We have our first A10 game tomorrow and there hasn't been a post about it in 24 hours. Are we taking this game for granted? All I can say is "They are who we think they are". Let's face it, we know them and they know us. These are two of the most veteran teams in the A10.

Last year, they outrebounded us 35-28 but we outscored them in the paint 42-20. We only had 5 turnovers last year.

They aren't real tall, but they have bulk. Kanacevic is a bruiser at 6-8, 255 and Roberts is 6-8, 225. They both score in double figures and each grabs 7.8 boards. It's not news, but Galloway is their best player, averaging 16.9 points. He shoots 44 % from 3.

A healthy Cady should be a lot better than Kanacevic. If DK wants to put Cady on Roberts, who is a better all around player, than Sampson or Maxie will have to deal with Kanacevic.

They pretty much have used 7 players, but Miles (12 minutes/game) is out with a concussion. It's our first conference game so let's hope the guys come out with some passion. We're at home, we're deeper and more talented than they are. Just play hard and play smart.

Looking forward to watching this Bembry kid play. Sounds like a pretty smart player for a freshman and he's getting a lot of run.

^ Bembry's very good. He may save Martelli's bacon. I expect DG to shut him down, though.

^ I just happened to read this in the St. Joe's game notes a few minutes ago:

" Video streaming will also be available on CampusInsiders.com."

I don't know anything about that site.

I've watched about 1.5 games of St. Joes. Bembry is a very talented scorer. Very quick and finishes well, even on shots that look a little crazy.

He is a bit of a gunner, though. I think we can make him take bad shots. I'd love to see him get 18 on 6-21 shooting, rather than watch Galloway hit threes over our small guards and Ron Roberts shoot jump hooks over the Lalanne Statue all day.

^ I think we put DG on Galloway (6-2) as he is our best one on one defender. Chaz will probably get Wilson, who is 6-3, but not as much of a threat as Galloway. I can see Put defending Bembry, who is 6-6.

I'm going to go out on a limb and make the call that this is the game that we get back on track and make a solid example of what happens when you go up against a bonafide Top 20 team.

I think instead of one guy leading our team, we see 2-3 guys who step up and score in double figures and we win this one by about 15-20, and the freshmen see 1-2 minutes of action at the end.

Cady is overdue for a breakout game above his average. Chaz too.

DK should show the first 20 seconds of this to the players.

That may be how it shakes out.

I think I'd put Put on Galloway, as his length can bother Galloway's preferred shot, the three ball. Bembry has size on DG, but Put will have no chance staying in front of Bembry and would get in foul trouble immediately.

Roberts is a talented player. Cady needs to play some aggressive defense. It's okay to get called for a foul occasionally.

I'm sure they'll focus on Cady so Maxie could (will) have a big game. Double double. St. Joe's hangs around and we win by 4, 76-72

I am more nervous about this game than any game so far this season.
