Agree 100% I wish they stayed. The fact they haven't found a home is surprising.

I can't believe they haven't landed somewhere yet. Very strange. Sure seems to a sign that maybe other schools do not think as highly of them as UMASS did. Anyone have any inside knowledge or perspective?

I endorse this post. For whatever reasons, the climate in college hoops right now encourages the movement of players who haven't enhanced their NBA resume at their current school. There was nothing nefarious about our guys moving on. But they perhaps underestimated the effects of the two-fer. I wish them luck, unless the situation they are in leads to an undesirable effect on the success of UMass basketball.

Not agreeing or disagreeing but two people who post here that tell us they have inside information also tell us that Deeky exhibited a self centered cocky attitude. So, there you have it.

Add Donte Clark to the NOLA duo but at least the former won't have to sit out a year.

Nope, but it's been widely discussed that DK was the reason that the NOLA duo didn't play well. But hey, nice try with that!

^I know you go to every game IV, as do I, and I appreciate that, but did you watch a different duo? Deeky could put up points, although inconsistently. Seems like he had more single-digit games than double digit games. As for point guard skills, his only consistent assist was an alley-oop to Brison. It was also Brison's only real scoring threat with a couple put backs mixed in. I believe they both can develop into good D1 players, but what I watched were two freshmen outmatched on both ends of the court by upper classman. Not unusual. I just didn't think they were as "special" as advertised. Certainly, Deeky's vision of being drafted this year was way out of wack. Hope this statement makes your afternoon as well. Peace.

Jesus man, you literally will drag DK into ANY conversation won't you.

You are right that certainly DJ was not good enough last year to be a one and done and he certainly did have some stinkers of games. But holy shit he flashed better than I've seen anyone in a long, long time. I will take my chances that with a more reigned in system and less threes (unless he develops a good shot) that he can still be an all conference type of guy in the A10. People acting like it was Gary Correia and Matt Hill out there are just so far off.

You can think that DK was not a really good coach and still be level headed enough to know that Jarreau and Gresham were solid basketball players.

It's almost July and it seems like they are not focused on their next school at all. Not even a scheduled visit yet? Who knows what's going on. Wouldn't be surprised if they both do a year in Juco at this point.

Not true - I don't think I have ever mentioned him in the football forum? But I can't be 100% sure
