beg to differ. ST needs self discipline and DB does not have the ability to get that from his players. A personal foul penalty on the opening kickoff is completely on the player involved!! If they are playing undisciplined players, why would expect disciplined play?

I’m talking about kicks and punts both coverage schemes as well as kick placement. I agree the penalties awful, and like you said the coaches seem to accept them. Again, coaching.

Just not remotely competitive. The punting was bad for a high school game never mind D-1. The ultimate embarrassment was Mizzou going for it inside their own 35 with the backup QB and getting it. Also thought Puma should have been benched way way earlier. He just doesnt see the field well. He’s had his chance, time to give someone else the reps

The near pick 6 before the half should have been the final nail in the coffin for puma. So bad.

yes that is kind of his "M.O."............same with the Buffalo pick 6 and the guy takes it to the house 100 yards. I'll say it again: there will be wins when we get into the MAC. We'll be in with Akron and Kent State and there's 2 wins right there. Recruiting will pick up also.

The weather looked great and it was nice to see UMass get the full ESPN treatment. Lots of nice clips of the surrounding nature etc

And the above quote is the highlight of the entire day.

Just pointing out that the football team appearing on ESPN 2 is a lot different than any other channel I’ve seen them on in a very long time, maybe ever.

Missouri being in the SEC is irrelevant to me because they have no roots there. I don’t think Missouri would even make the grade to get in if Texas or Oklahoma jumped a decade ago. It’s like saying “wow we are hosting a Big Ten school” and it’s Rutgers lol

Same reason UMass is playing two FCS teams: because beggars who are independent can’t be choosers when it comes to scheduling.

This will be fixed moving forward. Might take a bit to work out the OoC games already scheduled but my guess is moving forward there will be much more reasonable OOC agreements.
