Might as well have one for the women. I enjoyed watching them this season and actually attended a few games. So far, we have 1 entry - Sorrentino has announced that she will be transferring.

I think, though listed as a senior, Allie Palmieri has another year of eligibility. She played 7,2,7 games her first 3 years. If so I am glad to hear, so far, that she had not entered the portal. After 3 non productive years, she thrived at UMass and hopefully she returns.

UMass WBB grad transfer Aleah Sorrentino (6-2 RS SR forward, Palm Bay, FL) has signed with Stetson; 2024-25: 24 GP (6 starts), 9.3 MPG, 2.8 PPG, 2.1 RPG; Ole Miss → Lipscomb → UMass → Stetson

Probably the right level for her. She wore a knee brace all year and maybe that limited her.

So far, she's the only name in the WBB portal and nobody yet the men's portal.

Add Avery Childers to the portal list. She didn't play at all this year. Last year, 3 games, 6 minutes total. I think she had injury issues and maybe a change of scenery is best for her.

Rats. I was hoping to keep Kasey Bretones, but as losses go, this one hurts far less than some others.

I spoke with Ryan at the Spring Game, and he indicated that most of our key players will be returning and that Taylor Derkack will be ready to play this year as well. I think we're looking pretty good going into our first year in the MAC.
