The Whipple V.2 years weren't that great. But now we're dreaming of 4 wins in a season. Everything's relative.

Announced attendance of 3,714. I know it was delayed the two hours for storms, but good job everyone. This is definitely a serious FBS program.

UMass is the worst program in the history of FBS

Correct. But I guarantee we’ll draw more come MAC play. Conference stability and all. Buffalo and Bowling Green fans travel better than UNH.

So, 3,714. UCF’s game against NCAT (like Bryant, FCS) was delayed by weather, too. 44,000 showed up. If we would just expand McGuirk maybe we too could pull 44k. Game day experience and all that, I suppose.

There have been a lot (hundreds?) of posts about firing Bamford. I'm not advocating for or against this. My question is, who or what will change things if he is fired? I think it will take a lot more than that to make things right. Maybe it's a first step, but what else can realistically be done?

I'm ready to go back to FCS, put our tail between our legs, beg the A10 to take us back and I don't care how much it would cost.

This post I made in 2013 came up in my Facebook memories today….

“So, I had to say I told you so. But......

I said for years the UMass move to FBS Football was a stupid idea that would turn into a train wreck, and yet here we are.

They missed the boat in the late 90's and now are reaping the seeds of a landscape that left them behind. Sad... Just sad.”
Turns out, just because you write your name on a baby doesn't mean you get to keep it."

Look at how many different mens BB and FB coaches we've had since Bamford arrived... they've all failed. He is whats common. Plus the dysfunction within the dept.. but that's another story.. sometimes it's not everyone else... sometimes it's you.
