I agree. He's a drama queen sometimes.CarriageEstates22 wrote: I love Chazz but there was some major league acting going on when he was grabbing his back. When they showed the replay it looked like there was minimal contact at best.
Game 14, 2013-14: Saint Joseph's
Love the grit they played with down the stretch last night. Aside from Chaz, Maxie and Trey are really playing well, and the spark they bring coming off the bench is huge. The only thing I'd like to see more of is Maxie at the high post when Cady is in the game down on the block. If they double down on Cady, Maxie should be able to take anyone to the rim. If they cheat on Maxie, Cady should get more space. Need to get Cady going again, and with him and Maxie out there together, that's a tough duo. Samp is playing his ass off, shots aren't falling but they will. He looks like he's not 100%, but his effort is always there, so let's hope he bounces back, he's a good player.
Good teams win games even when they don't play their best game. 13-1, I'll take it especially while we're not hitting on all cylinders. I'm enjoying this season A LOT

Acting or not, it was the catalyst to winning the game. Do you think he would sacrifice his defense on that possession to sell it even more?CarriageEstates22 wrote:I love Chazz but there was some major league acting going on when he was grabbing his back. After the non-foul turnover where he was hobbling around, he gave the ref a cold stare, then drilled a three.
That set up his ridiculous defensive intensity, which was followed by the 3 point attempt while being fouled.

Second this, but I love it. Just makes it more interesting, especially when he goes down and nails a 3 right after, and gets fouled shooting another.Chris20 wrote:I agree. That being said, I would LOATHE Chaz if I was an opposing fan. Similar to the way that I despise Kanacevich.
Chaz had ice packs on three different parts of his body (elbow, hip, back) after the game. If you think that he's "acting" then he would trade places with you, I'm sure.CarriageEstates22 wrote:I love Chazz but there was some major league acting going on when he was grabbing his back. From my seats last night, DG played a hell of a game. The guy is non-stop motion and aggression. If the guy could ever develop an outside shot - even from 15 feet -- he would be a monster because he would be incredibly difficult to guard.Swampy wrote:Puffers_Porter wrote:I have to say, DG is playing really well. You guys need to sit down with my friend Kosty for a few beahs because last night he seemed to lose confidence in DG.Shaksrule04 wrote:DG is playing very well, great pass and read on that last hoop.
