I have already been in contact with the management team at McCaffrey's in Springfield. This appears to be a Sunday afternoon game at 2pm. By law, the bar/restaurant can't serve booze before 11am (Sorry IV). They will be open then, with many more staff members than last year. They admittedly did not anticipate the largess of the UMass Hoop fan base last year, but are willing to make amends. If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know. I have no affiliation with the business, but I am friendly with the owners and many employees.

Is this the same place we met last year before the BYU game? I admittedly don't remember it terribly well. Everything after your (rightfully) likening me to a 14 year old girl for making my first drink a whiskey sour (and my then ripping the double Jameson shot you put in front me to make up for this perceived softness) is super hazy.

Can someone give us a rundown on FGCU's team this year ? There was absolutely nothing positive to take from the LSU beatdown, so I'm ready to move on and start thinking about this one. I hope the Mass Mutual Center is jammed, that place can get rocking when the fans are into it, like last year's game vs. BYU.

Currently ranked 103 by KenPom, or only eight slots behind the LSU team that just kicked our ass. Best win is a home OT win over UC Santa Barbara. Our old buddy Brett Comer (UMass recruit) still running the point.
