This morning it was announced that Dave Strader passed away at 62 of that dreaded disease we all fear! I remember him playing freshman basketball with his buddy from Glens Falls, NY Jim Town who was a basketball great at UMass (75-77). The Collegian had a great interview with him just 9 days ago that everyone should hear!

WMUA conducted the interview, not The Collegian.
Dave was a great guy. He fought like hell in his effort to beat cancer despite a rather grim initial prognosis. He will certainly be missed.
