• Played one season with the Minutemen, but opted to transfer in the hopes of playing full-time point guard.¹⁾ UMass already had Anthony Anderson handling the point guard role.
• One of the first recruits for Steve Lappas and staff at UMass, Lasme committed to UM in July 2001. Had also received interest from USC, Stanford, Connecticut, Seton Hall, Cincinnati, and St. John's.
• Wavered in his commitment in early Fall 2001, but ultimately signed an LOI in November.

• Played in 28 of the 29 games on the season, starting in 16.

Some external sources reported that Lasme was the A-10's Newcomer/Rookie of the Year in 2002-03. That is false. That honor went to La Salle's Gary Neal. Lasme didn't make the A-10 Rookie Team, nor won a Rookie of the Week honor.
