  • Ranked second on the team in blocked shots (24) and assists (55) and fourth in steals (19)
  • Lowest turnovers/game per 40 minutes (1.9) of any player with over 100 total minutes
  • Held Connecticut's Richard Hamilton to 11 points on 3 of 11 shooting, with four turnovers
  • Scored a career-high 15 points at St. John's, while allowing Ron Artest only nine points
  • Pulled down a career-best 12 rebounds in the upset win against Kansas, while holding Kenny Gregory to six points and two rebounds
  • Allowed Texas' Kris Clack only nine points on 3 of 11 shooting, with four turnovers
  • Totaled 11 points and eight rebounds at La Salle
  • Named to the preseason Atlantic 10 All-Defensive team
  • Pizza Hut Academic All-Star of the Game for the CBS broadcast of the UMass/Temple game

Freshman year 1996-97

  • Averaged 1.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per game
  • Played in 25 games, making 10 starts
  • Won the team's slam dunk contest during Midnight Madness
  • Played both the small forward and big guard positions
  • Played a season-high 32 minutes at Wake Forest, scoring six points and pulling down nine boards
