The season represented the first basketball season in the school's history. The game itself was invented eight years earlier, in nearby Springfield MA.1)

Roster
Haven't found a single source with a comprehensive roster. Compiling this from different mentions I have found, primarily in Aggie Life.

| McCobb, Edmond Franklin (C)8) | Milford, MA9) |
| Rice | ? |

| Halligan | ? |

| Morrill | ? |
| Chickering | ? |
Aggie Life mention, in their 12/20/1899 edition, of McCobb as both captain and manager.11)
3)
Unsure if any regional/national postseason play was even organized in this era.
4)
No team was organized in 1901.
10)
Unsure if Hall was a distinct person, or possibly a shortened version of Halligan. Halligan was mentioned in the 1/13/1900 game report from Aggie Life. Their 1/17/1900 game report mentions “Hall”.
