Kennesaw State was on the other night and I think their stadium is smaller than ours. They are bowl eligible.

Bob Marcum takes a lot of heat here for some reason, but he urged UMass to move to C-USA in the 90's and I still believe that was the correct avenue to pursue. It was a sort of national conference and had both strong football and basketball.

There has never been a serious FBS effort until now. Playing as an Independent set the program back a decade and was essentially starting from scratch each season. It was a terrible decision.

WMU didn’t even score on Illinois, that’s surprising. I am feeling optimistic about this. This is no Iowa or Missouri. So long as they don’t huck the ball up and hope for flags like Bryant, I think we have a chance!

Serious question, do people think playing these games pushes these kids to work harder or do they feel so overwhelmed they're trying to get through them without big injuries? I'm sure they feel the energy the big crowd brings, but getting dominated like that has to be mentally tough.
