2021-22 Junior year
- Appeared in 16 of UM's 32 games, starting in one (Fairfield 12/19).
- Limited playing time as he was down the depth chart at the guard position. Finished the season with 15 points in 126 minutes (7.9 mpg).
- Showed some promise in the season opener vs UMBC (11/9). Went 3-4 from the field for 6 points, snared a rebound, dished two assists, and got a steal, in 13 minutes of work off the bench.
- Got scattered minutes (6.3 average) in the next six games (at Yale 11/12 through UM-Lowell 11/24), but tallied just 1 total point, 4 rebounds, 5 assists.
- Did not play versus Rutgers (11/27) or North Texas (12/11).
- Played 4 total minutes versus Harvard (12/4) and at Northeastern (12/7).
- Got a spot start versus Fairfield (12/19), as Noah Fernandes and TJ Weeks both had the flu. Played a season-high 18 minutes, shot 2-2 from the floor and 2-2 from the line for 6 points. Got an assist and 2 steals, but also 3 turnovers.
- Appeared in six of the eight games in January, averaging 8.8 minutes. Shot a combined 1-4 from the field, no free throw attempts, 8 total rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals. All those games were losses and most were not close.
- Did not appear in any games after George Mason (1/30), as Coach McCall tightened up the rotation and all the primary guards were available.
2020-21 Sophomore year
- Appeared in 11 of the team's 15 games in the Coronavirus-shortened season.
- Started the season opener versus Northeastern (12/11). Tallied two points on foul shots, three boards, and an assist. Unfortunately for him, freshman Javohn Garcia scored 23 points in 33 minutes off the bench, and Mitchell lost his starting role.
- Missed the 12/30 George Mason game, in COVID protocol.6)
- Sustained a concussion in a head-to-head collision in the Fordham game (1/17).7) Out for the next game (Davidson 1/24).8)
- Returned for the home game versus Fordham (2/3). Played 10 minutes, snared three boards, and hit a foul shot.
- Logged seven minutes, going 1-1 from the field, and dishing two assists, in the win at Rhode Island (2/6).
- Played 11 minutes in the A-10 Tournament win over Saint Joseph's (3/4), tallying two points, two boards, and an assist.
2019-20 Freshman year
- Appeared in 19 games, limited by injury. Started in 10 straight in January and February.
- Shot exclusively from inside the arc, a rarity for a guard on a team that took over 23 threes per game.
- Got action in Game 1 vs UMass-Lowell (11/5). Twelve minutes of playing time, 3 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. Found out post-game that he sustained a small fracture in his hand.9)
- Missed games 2-13 with the hand injury.
- Returned 1/5 at Saint Louis, appeared in each game after that. Went 2-2 from the floor, plus 2 rebounds, in 6 minutes.
- Sixteen minutes of action versus La Salle (1/8), tallying 4 assists and 2 boards.
- Twenty minutes logged at Dayton (1/11), with 2 points and 3 rebounds.
- Started his first game versus Duquesne (1/25). Logged 22 minutes, hitting 2-3 from the floor, plus 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
- Stole 4 from George Mason (2/9) for a season high.
- Season highs in minutes (26) and assists (6), with zero turnovers, against Dayton.
- Came off the bench for the final two games, as Sean East got the starting point guard spot back.
