  • UMass was scheduled to host NJIT on 12/22/2021, but the game was cancelled due to positive COVID-19 cases within NJIT's program.1)
  • NJIT upgraded from Division-II to D-I for the 2009-10 season.2)
  • For their first four seasons in D-I, they were a member of the Great West Conference, which made for long road trips for conference games. The Great West also languished in membership, going from seven members in basketball to just five in the final season.
  • NJIT was independent in D-I in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons, then was a member of the Atlantic Sun for the next five. NJIT joined the America East starting in the 2020-21 season.
