Left UMass for a time, hoping to get more playing time elsewhere. Went to a school in Florida in between UMass stints.¹⁾

Giddel made the most of his opportunity against Kentucky

Became a teammate with his younger brother, and starting point guard, Edgar.
Saw action in 21 of the season's 37 games, starting on Senior Night against Saint Joseph's (2/28).
Was a spark off the bench²⁾ in the Final Four against Kentucky, scoring four points, and tallying one rebound, assist, and steal.

Logged nine total minutes across three games, scored 5 points and snared a rebound.

Younger brother Edgar played for the Minutemen from 1993-97, and the two were teammates in the 1995-96 season.
