11/14 at Mississippi L 90-88 Jarreau (25) Jarreau (8) 1-1 UM builds a 9 point lead with 3:49 to play, but freezes up and fails to score again. Great numbers from rookie Jarreau (6 assists as well as 25/8), but bittersweet as he misses the potential game-winning 3 with 1 second to play. Lewis scores 20, Pipkins 18, Clark 13.
11/17 Temple W 70-67 Jarreau (16) Pipkins (9) 2-1 Jarreau's 3 puts UM ahead 68-67, then adds a layup for the final points. Jarreau also notches a team-high 7 assists. Clark 14 & 8. Holloway 11 & 6. Enechionyia 26 for Temple.
11/20 at Holy Cross W 68-60 Clark (18) Holloway (8) 3-1 At DCU Center, Worcester MA. UM uses a late 15-2 run to shake off the Crusaders. Clark, Lewis, Berger, Pipkins, Holloway all in double-figure scoring. Off-game for Jarreau, just 3 points. No other M'Men score. UM wins glass by 10.
11/26 Harvard W 70-66 Clark (29) Holloway (8) 4-1 Clark takes over, scoring 18 of UM's last 22 points. Clark also goes 13-14 from the stripe, crucial in the close game where UM loses the glass by 12. First start for Lewis: 10 points, 0 turnovers, 35 minutes.
11/30 Wagner W 62-55 Anderson (19) Hines (8) 5-1 Anderson (career high 19 on 8-11 FG, 3-4 from 3) and Hines (14 pts, 4-5 FG, 6-7 FT) step up when rest of team has off night. Besides Hines, rest of UM shoots 4-14 from stripe.
12/3 Central Florida L 65-62 Flowers (20) Flowers (9) 5-2 Great game for Flowers (7-12 FGs, 6-10 from 3). Pipkins 16 pts, 6 rebounds, 7 steals, but shoots 7-22 from the field. Jarreau returns from injury much earlier than expected. Efianayi scores 24 for UCF, Fall snares 16 rebounds.
12/8 Pacific W 72-48 Clark (12) Jarreau (6) 6-2 UM hits 14 threes while Pacific only hits 17 FGs all night. UM spreads it around: 20 assists on 25 made shots. Hines, with 8 and 5, wins the Gotham Classic's “showcase game” MOP.
12/10 Providence L 75-69 Holloway (21) Holloway (9) 6-3 Holloway gets it done down low, but UM's perimeter game not enough to overcome Friars. 19 UM turnovers and 9-18 FT shooting hurt the cause. Pipkins adds 20, but Clark (9) and Jarreau (4 pts, 6 turnovers) struggle.
12/13 North Carolina A&T W 65-59 Clark (22) Anderson (8) 7-3 Gotham Classic game. Minutemen get off to atrocious start: 11-0 and 20-3 deficits, shooting just 1-14 (0-10 from 3). Rest of way: UM shoots 56%. Clark tallies 9-14 shooting, 6 assists, 2 blocks, just 1 TO. Pipkins 11 pts, 5 assists, 2 steals.
12/17 Kennesaw State W 95-77 Pipkins (27) Gresham (8) 8-3 Gotham Classic game. KSU jumps out to 20-15 lead, but UM goes on a 37-18 run to pull away and maintain. Other UM double-figure scorers: Jarreau (17), Holloway (14), Clark (11), Flowers (10). UM denies KSU coach Skinner (UM alum) his 400th career win. Kendrick Ray 35 pts for KSU.

1/4 at George Mason L 86-81 Holloway (17) Holloway (10) 10-5 0-2 First double-double for Holloway, and Pipkins (16), Clark (15), and Lewis (12) also hit double figures. UM gets more FGs and rebounds, but GMU goes to line 28 times to UM's 7. GMU also hits 45% from 3 to 31% for UM.
1/7 at Virginia Commonwealth L 81-64 Holloway (22) Holloway (11) 10-6 0-3 Holloway's 2nd straight double-double, but Anderson (12) is the only other UM double-figure scorer. Four double-figure scorers for VCU, and they win the glass 45-32. VCU 23-7 run the difference. UM struggles again from 3: 4-18 (22%).
1/11 Dayton W 67-55 Pipkins (17) Holloway & Jarreau (7 each) 11-6 1-3 UM turns a 6.5 underdog prediction into a double-digit win. Strong performances from underclassmen: Pipkins 17 & 4, Holloway 14 & 7, Jarreau 13/7/6. Season worsts for Dayton in points (55, nearly 22 under their average), FG% (.316), turnovers (19).
1/15 at Rhode Island L 79-77 Holloway (20) Holloway (7) 11-7 1-4 UM builds a 15-point lead in the first half, but Rhody charges back. Jarreau 15/5/9, Clark 12, Pipkins 10. Matthews scores 22 for Rhody on 10-14 shooting.
1/18 Saint Joseph's W 62-57 Lewis (23) Berger & Holloway (7 each) 12-7 2-4 UM wakes up from an early 24-12 deficit. Starters only score 16 on the night, but UM's bench outscores shallow SJU's 46-2. New UM high for Lewis. Anderson 12 & 6, Holloway 9 & 7.
1/21 Fordham L 71-68 Clark (17) Clark (8) 12-8 2-5 Fordham kills UM in second chance points (21-4), and steals 14. UM 19 turnovers on the day, converted into 28 Fordham points. UM's 51% team shooting and Jarreau's 9 assists both wasted.
